Gerrit Broadway Strawberry Licorice Rolls are based on the original Broadway Rolls, which were sold in the 1960s under the brand name Delfa Rolls or Danish Ribbons. These imported licorice rolls were hard to find and were a fun treat to eat. You could either peel off the strips and chew on them, or suck on the whole roll.
