Nantasket Sweets By Swedes is a women-owned, family-run Swedish candy and handmade chocolate shop at 165 Nantasket Ave in Hull, a short walk from Nantasket Beach. It's our original store, open since December 2020, the one everything else at this company grew out of.
Where it started
Before there was a second location in Beacon Hill, there was just this one, a pick-and-mix wall and a chocolate case on a beach town street. Hull is where Maria started hand-making chocolate and filling the candy wall with imported Swedish favorites, sea salt caramels, Dubai chocolate, and fudge alongside salty licorice (salmiak) and BUBS candy. Everything the Boston store carries traces back to what's been running here since 2020.

Hull sits on a narrow peninsula that juts into Massachusetts Bay, and the store is close enough to the sand that a beach day and a candy stop fit into the same afternoon without much planning. Nantasket Ave runs parallel to the shoreline, so it's an easy add-on whether you're coming from the beach or just passing through town.
