Nantasket Sweets By Swedes is a women-owned, family-run Swedish candy and handmade chocolate shop at 115 Charles Street in Beacon Hill. We opened here in August 2026, bringing the same pick-and-mix wall and small-batch chocolate that's been running at our original store in Hull, Massachusetts since 2020. Same family, same recipes, new neighborhood.
A Swedish pick-and-mix wall on Charles Street
Walk in and you'll find a full lösviktsgodis wall: build-your-own-bag Swedish candy, filled the way it's done back in Sweden. That means salty licorice (salmiak) alongside the sweeter stuff, BUBS candy in its classic shapes and flavors, and a rotating mix of gummies, chews, and hard candy that skews sweet, sour, and salty all at once.
Handmade chocolate, made a few steps away
Alongside the candy wall, Maria hand-makes small-batch chocolate using Valrhona and Callebaut, real cane sugar, cream, and vanilla bean, with no preservatives, additives, or emulsifiers. The chocolate line includes sea salt caramels, pecan turtles, fudge, and Dubai chocolate bars (two-bar pack, $32).
